These are the lyrics I wrote for a part of the instrumental song "Eternal" from Evanescence.

The part that this lyrics only apply to is the Piano that plays inside the storm, starting around the 3:35 time mark.

Because I can't use Courier New as my font to post this song, I had to completely change the way the song was set up for posting, so I apologize for the new, sloppier way of following the notes. Here is the explanation of the symbols used inside the lyrics:

Legend:

BoldUnderline: Main Piano Note. A letter inside these is where the next note of the piano will find its place in the lyrics. Pronounce the syllable that begins with these marks right when the note of the piano strikes.

ItalicUnderline: Second Piano Note. A letter inside these is where the next note of the secondary piano will find its place in the lyrics. Pronounce the syllable that begins with these marks right when the note of the piano strikes.

NormalText: Main Piano Lyrics. Please do not read over these if you're following the second piano.

Italics Second Piano Lyrics. Please do not read over these if you're following the main piano.

... Time Delay. Elypses symbolize that you may have to wait a little bit for the next note, or at least that it is not a run-on note to the next line of the lyrics

~ Run-On. These are there to let you know that the next note of the lyrics is coming either immediately after or very fast, denoting that you shouldn't breath inbetween.

- Syllable Follow-On. The word you're pronouncing has more than one syllable, and each one belongs to a specific note of the piano. Used to separate the syllables and help pronunciation in accordance with each note.

/// Thought Follow-On. These work just like "~" but with the intention of separating a thought from another. The next word will come immediately after the one preceding the symbol.
